Well, since the 31st is a Tuesday, we have one more week to finish Getting Things Done! I hope you have been enjoying reading the book and/or the emails.

I thought it would be good to focus on the concept of creating systems as David explains in his book. There are many things that we do over and over again, and if you are like me, sometimes we forget how we did it! An easy example is creating a consistent shopping list on the computer that we just print out and check off the needed items before we shop. Most of us have certain foods we buy every week, and to have them already on a customized list would be really helpful

One task I do each month is to create a new meme for one of the websites I work with. It involves using Canva, LeadPages, and then uploading the finished meme to the website. There are a lot of steps, and I’m NOT a natural technological whiz… not even close… okay…not at all. And month after month I’d forget how I did it the previous month. I eventually got it figured out so I can do it, but I’m kicking myself that I never thought to create a system: Step 1, Step 2, etc. that I could just pull out each month and work my way down. That would have saved me so much time and frustration!

Anything you do in your work or life that requires you do a series of repetitive tasks is the perfect candidate for creating a system or checklist.

Hop on over to our facebook group and share one thing that you can systematize in your life to save time!

See you again next month, with our second book: Deep Work by Cal Newport

As always, if you know anyone who might like to join us for February, feel free to invite them to check out

Happy Reading!  Diane
